Inspired by the flair of the Danish capital Copenhagen, København is the creation of three designers: Morten Rostgaard Olsen, Henrik Birkvig, and Ole Søndergaard.
This semi serif’s accessible and easy-to-read quality is the result of open forms and a large x-height, as well as slightly curved edges and some rounded terminals.
København comes in five well-coordinated weights, ranging from Light to Black, each accompanied by a true italic. Various character sets, ligatures, and small caps are also available.
The wide range of characters also includes a picto-font, which contains decorative elements from Copenhagen’s City Hall as well as silhouettes of famous sights, all in keeping with the theme of the Danish capital.
A relaxed yet impressive typeface, København is not only suited to long texts but also cuts a fine figure in headings or on posters. As an introductory offer, if you order by January 12 you will receive all eleven styles of the København family for just $79*, a discount of $170.
